KKSB Celebrates Durian Festival with Community at Penang Office

PENANG, 10 June 2026 – Koperasi Khazanah Suria KL Berhad (KKSB) brought together members, agents, staff, and the local community for a lively Durian Festival held in front of its Penang Office on 10 June 2026. The event celebrated Malaysia's iconic "King of Fruits" while fostering stronger relationships and community spirit among attendees.

The festival featured a variety of fresh durians for guests to enjoy in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Participants had the opportunity to gather, share conversations, and experience the unique flavours of one of Malaysia's most beloved seasonal fruits, creating an enjoyable occasion for everyone present.

Beyond the durian feast, the event served as a platform for KKSB to strengthen engagement with its members and the surrounding community. The informal setting encouraged meaningful interactions between management, agents, staff, and guests, reinforcing the cooperative's commitment to building lasting relationships beyond the workplace.

A KKSB representative said the festival reflects the cooperative's belief that community engagement plays an important role in creating stronger connections and a positive organisational culture.

"The Durian Festival is more than just enjoying a seasonal delicacy — it is an opportunity to bring people together, strengthen friendships, and express our appreciation to our members, agents, and the local community. These moments help build the close relationships that define KKSB," said Dato' Adwin, CDO of KKSB.

KKSB remains committed to organising community-focused activities that promote togetherness, appreciation, and meaningful engagement. Through initiatives such as the Durian Festival, the cooperative continues to foster a culture of unity while creating memorable experiences for its members and stakeholders.
